Welcome to the retro web home of the Kay and Mike

We continue to play as much as we can - tennis, travel and hiking; plus the periodic concert and movie. Kay plays competitive tennis in both the Pacific Northwest and Pacific Southwest sections on women's and mixed teams, plus Cup play. Mike enjoys recreational tennis, particularly when the lovely Seattle summer weather cooperates.

Sadly, Shanny crossed the rainbow bridge on Labor Day 2024, after a quick battle with brain tumors. It's amazing how a single, nearly silent, feline presence can be such a positive influence on a house, and she is greatly missed. We're taking some time off from having furry beasts in the house, but will likely add a companion sometime in the future.

We enjoy living in the greater Seattle area, and try to squeeze in a little travel here and there - last year was our (first) trip to Spain in May 2023, and a quick visit in Minnesota in the fall. No major trips so far in 2024, but it isn't over yet!

We're also dabbling a little with Acrylic Pour Painting, starting to learn a variety of styles and techniques. We plan to put a few snapshots of our creations up soon.
